From its trademark kangaroos to Ayers Rock, Australia is full of wonders. Spend the semester immersed in its culture, learning about the indigenous population, and earning credits toward your degree at CIEE’s partner school, Murdoch University. Courses are available across a range of subject areas, including business, education, IT, media and film studies, and sustainable development. Options for internships are also available for students to gain real-world work experience, including a parliamentary option in the fall and sustainable development option in the spring. Students can also volunteer to mentor local high school students. All courses are complemented with CIEE co-curricular activities and excursions beyond the city to enhance classroom learning and provide intercultural understanding.

Projects
INTERNSHIPS
Bring home more than amazing memories with a valuable international internship. Possibilities include:
Sustainable Community Development Internship. Contribute to a water auditing and conservation strategies project in Fremantle or research the efficiency of transportation modes in Perth.
Parliamentary or Public Sector Internship (fall). Work with members of the state’s parliament or public sector department to examine affordable housing.
